Are you ready for a new challenge? We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to help run and support the manager at one of our Pasty stores. This is an exciting role for the right candidate who will love pasties as much as we do and strengthen our team.
We aim to be approachable and always have a listening ear when it comes to problems that arise within the business. Being an assistant manager can be a diverse role, but it is important that the right candidate can be hands-on and work efficiently on the shop floor/kitchen as the rest of the team.
Duties include:
1. Maintaining the high level of food hygiene standards within the shop.
2. Handling customer complaints.
3. Ensuring the team has a safe and happy environment to fulfill their shift.
4. Stock control.
5. Weekly and Daily ordering of stock.
6. Baking pasties.
7. Making breakfast, sandwiches, baguettes, and cakes.
8. Checking standards.
9. Filling the manager's role when sick or on leave.
10. Understanding of EPOS Now till system.

Please be aware some lifting is involved within this role and the assistant manager must make themselves available for weekend working.
We will require a minimum of two references, and the right candidate should have at least 3 years of management experience.
