Job Role: Engineering Stores Coordinator
Client: Global Cctegory Leading Manufacturer in retail Consumer Goods
Job Type: Temporary to permanent ,weekly contract to start with
Monday - Friday Days, flexible on start / finish times, 40 hour week, ideally 8-4 but flexible
Salary: £14 - £18 PH target range
Contract: TEMP - PERM
Location: Pontefract / Castleford area
1. Reporting to the Site Engineering Facilities Manager and responsible for the Maintenance stores processes to enable delivery of the Business objectives against factory Key Performance Indicators
2. Lead the Engineering Stores and delivery against KPI's which contribute to the Site delivery targets
3. Correlate all existing data on the system with what is in stock
4. To maintain a well-organized and safe engineering stores in support of minimizing equipment downtime and improving performance
5. To achieve site Key Performance Indicators (KPI`s) with respect to stock value, accuracy, stock turns & consignment stock
6. Lead the Engineering Stores and establish processes and ways of working for a 24/7 site
7. Develop the Engineering Stores capabilities
8. Adhere to and implement robust stock management and controls, identifying continuous improvement opportunities to ensure the needs of the site are met
9. To proactively source alternative components, engineered parts and suppliers that can meet the technical standards
