We currently have an opening for a Regional Manager to oversee sales, operations and development in the North West region. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s regional sales team, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our clients while fostering a positive workplace culture for our team. Your leadership will be essential in driving operational excellence, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and achieving business targets. You will be positioned as a key strategic partner within the company, working closely with senior management to align regional goals with overall organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Motivation Lead, inspire, and motivate the team to achieve goals and maintain high performance. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Performance Management Set clear expectations and goals for team members, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback. Conduct performance appraisals and manage performance improvement processes when needed. Resource Allocation & Management Allocate resources effectively to ensure projects and tasks are completed efficiently. Ensure the team has the necessary tools, equipment, and support to succeed. Operational Oversight Supervise daily operations and ensure tasks are carried out on time and to required standards. Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Problem Solving & Decision Making Identify and resolve problems that may arise within the team or related to operations. Make informed decisions to address challenges and improve team performance. Employee Development & Support Provide guidance and mentorship to support employees’ professional growth. Offer training opportunities, career development plans, and manage well-being in the workplace. Requirements What do I need? Proven experience in sales management in the environmental, water treatment, or water hygiene sector. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with both clients and team members. Financial acumen with experience in budget management and driving profitability. Understanding of Health & Safety standards relevant to the industry. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the region.
