Job Description Hunter Savage are delighted to be supporting a large, well established NI employer, headquartered in Belfast City centre, to recruit an experienced People Partner for a 9 month Fixed Term Contract contract, for their high performing HR Operations Team. This is a new, FTC People/HR Partner job offering an immediate start and a contract duration of a minimum of 9 months (until March/April 2025). The role offers full time hours (37 hours per week) and an attractive salary. The successful People Partner will enjoy working as part of a very busy team, providing HR advice and support to the operational stakeholders, ensuring effective people solutions are developed and implemented. A minimum of 2 years HR experience with solid employee relations and Trade Union exposure is essential and the close date for the role is Tuesday 24th September at 11 am. The Role Provide innovative HR thinking and solutions to assist divisions best manage HR Assist in the delivery of projects Support the development of a performance management culture by coaching managers in the implementation of the performance management process Support managers with investigations and coach and support managers in people related issues including disciplinary and grievance cases, dignity at work etc Provide professional advice and guidance to Managers on legislation, policies and procedures to ensure best practice employee relations Assist an support in the management of short and long term absence Support managers with recruitment Prepare regular and ad hoc management information reports and support continuous improvement in the management and monitoring of sickness absence, performance management and HR KPIs The Person Essential Minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent in a business related or HR discipline AND Minimum of 2 years experience in a HR role which includes handling employee relations within a unionised environment Sound understanding of employment legislation Effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills Experience of organisational change and culture Experience of managing and delivering HR projects Willing to travel across all locations within Northern Ireland The Rewards Attractive salary Immediate start 9 month temporary contract until March/April 2025.
