The successful candidate will lead the Team of Sonographers supporting development and advanced practice. Reporting directly to the Deputy Group Director of Operations, the post holder will provide day to day management of the non Obstetric Ultrasound Department. Supported by a forward thinking Operations Team, the post holder will develop the Team of Sonographers, supporting their development Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing service strategies and business plans/cases, Ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency, Budgetary control, Performance against national and local targets/key performance indicators/outcome measures. Effective clinical governance and risk management procedures. In addition the post holder will be required to be involved clinically in line with service needs.
