SEN Early Years Teacher Based near Forest of Dean Immediate Start/ Long-Term Contract Full-Time Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently working closely with an outstanding SEN Primary School near Coleford/ Cinderford who are seeking an Early Years Teacher to join their team immediately on a long-term placement. You have the opportunity to join a well-resourced SEN school who have a fantastic community who support one another to provide an inclusive learning environment for their children to grow and become independent learners. The Role You will be joining the EYFS teaching team on a Full-Time basis. As the Class Teacher, you will be expected to inspire and motivate children to be curious and explore the world around them. The Head Teacher is looking for a confident professional with knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, someone who is creative and able to bring exciting opportunities to the young children. The pupils have a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), and familiarity with similar pupils is welcomed. You will be expected to: Be creative and bring your initiative to the classroom. Ability to assess children’s knowledge and development. Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning. Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children. Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children. Work closely with the Class Teaching Assistant to provide 1 to 1 support to individual pupils.
