IT Applications Delivery Manager - CRM

About the role
NFU Mutual have an exciting opportunity for an Application Delivery Manager to join our Group IT Customer Applications and Data Services department and lead our IT CRM Service that sits at the heart of our Business managing our Customer data. The role works closely alongside the CRM Product Owner, contributing to and supporting the long-term CRM strategy for NFU Mutual.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our IT CRM Application Support Service whilst supporting Strategic Projects and other Change initiatives. The team is a hybrid of in-house, 3rd party onshore and 3rd party offshore staff. Stakeholder Management and team Leadership is key to the success of this role, along with a passion to deliver service excellence whilst operating in a controlled and regulated Financial Services environment.
A key part of the role will be establishing and managing resourcing plans to support project and change demand utilising established partner resource augmentation models, utilising appropriate governance frameworks and processes for IT Delivery Management, IT Service Management and IT Risks and Issues Management, escalating where necessary. In addition to this you'll also monitor and report on application licensing, platform storage and support agreements in area of responsibility, ensuring budget cycles are understood and planned, NFUM are compliant within existing licensing agreements, and opportunities for cost savings are identified.
You will also deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes as agreed with the Line Manager.
About you
You'll be a forward-thinking professional with strong stakeholder management, and effective communication skills to drive collaboration and innovation. You'll navigate complex relationships, anticipate challenges, and deliver results.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Experience of managing 3rd parties, contracts and associated performance in an IT service provider environment
* Strong experience of planning and managing IT delivery in complex environments with multiple external team dependencies
* Successful IT Application related service delivery and improvement experience
* Experience of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and agile delivery methodologies
* An understanding of the key risks associated with online capabilities
Knowledge of project management methodologies, cloud hosted technologies and good commercial awareness is key to succeeding in this role. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be desirable.
