Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered healthcare professional to join the Research and Innovation Directorate at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. We are seeking a confident and experienced healthcare professional, who is passionate about delivering high quality care, who enjoys a challenge and would welcome the opportunity to develop research. You will provide specialist skills and knowledge to support the running of clinical research in a range of clinical trials, both commercial and non-commercial. You will work within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring a smooth delivery of care to patients entered into clinical trials. You need to be an excellent team player, have good communication skills, excellent time management skills and attention to detail is a must. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will be part of the Research Delivery Team which involves recruiting patient participants into clinical trials, carrying out trial activity in line with the ethically approved protocol and in accordance with legislation. You will be responsible for supporting the Research Team in meeting its responsibilities for continuing and raising recruitment into a wide range of NIHR portfolio studies, including commercial and non-commercial studies.
