Teaching Personnel is recruiting Sports Coaches to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in specialist schools across Chorley, Leyland, Skelmersdale, and Ormskirk. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities available, making this an ideal role for those considering a career change into education or looking to gain valuable school-based experience. Role Overview: Using sport and physical activity to engage students with SEMH needs. Supporting students in lessons, social activities, and structured interventions. Helping to develop confidence, teamwork, and emotional regulation through sport. Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to create a positive learning environment. Requirements: ✔ Background in sports coaching, PE, or a related field. ✔ Passion for working with young people and supporting SEMH needs. ✔ Strong communication, patience, and resilience. ✔ Experience in a school or SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
