What will you do?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lifecycle Project Manager / Senior Building Surveyor to join a team delivering an ambitious capital programme exceeding £100m over the next five years. You will be responsible for defining, developing, procuring, and delivering a variety of lifecycle and maintenance projects ranging from £100k to £750k. These projects support business-critical property programmes, including Corporate, Education, and Community building developments.
You will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver these projects, which will involve often invasive building works, ensuring they do not disrupt critical public services.
What do you need?
To succeed in this role, you must be a qualified building surveyor with:
·UK Resident
·Significant experience managing lifecycle replacement projects, including decarbonisation and energy performance contracting.
·Strong project management skills with the ability to manage building works effectively.
·A sound understanding of legislation relating to construction health and safety.
·Knowledge of public-sector procurement processes.
·Chartered membership of CIOB, RICS, or APM is essential.
What will the working week look like?
- 2 days in the office.
- 2 days on project sites (surveying, monitoring progress, meeting consultants, and contractors).
- 1 day WFH.
Flexibility is offered, but no more than 2 days per week WFH will be permitted.
