This is an exciting time to join the Women and Children’s team here at Dr Grays Hospital as we re-establish Women and Children’s services following the success of the Moray Maternity Project. We want to create a blended team of professionals to help deliver the Women and Children’s services here in Moray and have the opportunity to recruit trainee and qualified Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioners into our service. You will join the already established Advanced Nurse Practitioner team here at Dr Grays who have team members embedded across Medicine, Stroke, Surgery and Orthopaedics. The Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner and the established team will provide clinical supervision and support during your training and throughout your continuous development in the role in conjunction with Consultant led Clinical Supervision. You will be supported to undertake your Advanced Practice Modules for Clinical training as well as produce and maintain a clinical portfolio of evidence for appraisals and revalidation. You will be supernumery during your training until essential modules have been completed and you have successfully submitted your clinical portfolio of evidence for NHSG and this will be at a Band 6 training post. On successful completion of all components you will be awarded your Band 7. For candidates applying for the qualified post, a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your ongoing development, mapped to the Four Pillars of Advanced Practice must be submitted. We welcome application from nurses with a Paediatric and or Neo Natal background and also from nursing colleague who have an Adult Nurse Qualification but who can demonstrate extensive experience with Paediatrics for example: Emergency Department Nursing.
