Internal Sales Coordinator
Objective:
The objective of the Internal Sales Coordinator is to support the sales team in achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service. This role is responsible for coordinating sales activities, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate sales records. The Internal Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication and collaboration within the sales team and providing exceptional support to customers.
Responsibilities:
* Support the sales team by providing administrative assistance and coordination of sales activities.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing product information, pricing, and order status updates.
* Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Coordinate with multiple internal departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
* Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer and sales data.
* Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis for management review.
* Assist in organising sales events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective promotion and communication of products and services.
* Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing and resolving customer concerns or complaints.
* Assist in the onboarding and training of new sales team members.
* Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
* Proven work experience in sales coordination or a similar role.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple sales activities simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and maintaining sales records.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
* Proficient in using CRM systems and SAGE is preferred but not essential.
* Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
* Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of sales principles and practices.
* The high energy level and self-motivated.
Hours of work:
8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and a 3 pm finish on Fridays.
