You will be either Diploma qualified or studying towards the qualification, with experience in holistic Paraplanning and supporting Financial Advisers in researching and formulating appropriate advice.
This mid-sized practice has a proven support structure designed to enable Financial Advisers and Paraplanners to maximize their time working with the right clients in both the personal and corporate sectors.
Paraplanner Duties
1. Identify new business opportunities from the existing client bank and previous advice opportunities, along with other sources.
2. Liaise with advisers, clients, and finance providers to implement recommended advice.
3. Prepare presentation packs, including collating all relevant forms, reports, and brochures using checklists.
4. Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet client needs.
5. Maintain CRM system.
6. Monitor and maintain client assets on the Platform.
7. Ensure all compliance paperwork is properly filed.
8. Monitor the progress of new business cases and respond to queries or requests for additional information.
9. Keep up to date with technical and professional development.
10. Demonstrate outstanding communication and organizational skills.
11. Maintain excellent attention to detail.
12. Use initiative and adopt a 'can-do' working style.
13. Prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines.
14. Willing to quickly learn new skills.
15. Explain complex information clearly and simply.
16. Be computer literate, proficient in MS Office.
17. Maintain an honest and trustworthy attitude, respecting confidentiality.
