The Assistant Room is a growing business with a global vision to connect and support Personal and Executive Assistants at all stages in their career. With big growth plans, we are looking for a proactive and highly organised Personal Assistant to support our Founder, in maximising her efficiency and effectiveness. This role will also play a key part in expanding The Assistant Room membership and brand reach worldwide.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a mix of administrative, marketing, and event coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide support to our Founder while contributing to the growth of The Assistant Room’s membership and engagement with a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support:
* Provide high-level administrative support to our Founder, including diary management, scheduling, and email correspondence.
* Manage internal and external communications on behalf of the Founder.
* Support in preparing reports, presentations, and documents for meetings in partnership with other team members.
* Organise and maintain digital files and documentation efficiently.
Marketing & Communications:
* Assist in executing marketing strategies to grow The Assistant Room membership globally.
* Support content creation for social media, newsletters, and email campaigns.
* Help manage The Assistant Room’s online presence, tracking performance and engagement metrics.
* Be confident enough to research and suggest new marketing strategies to increase reach and brand awareness.
Event Planning & Coordination:
* Assist in organising both virtual and in-person events, including networking sessions and industry webinars.
* Coordinate logistics, guest lists, and post-event follow-ups.
* Collaborate with vendors, venues, and event partners.
* Promote events through marketing channels to drive attendance and engagement.
Who We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a PA, administrative assistant and or in a marketing/event coordination role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
* Possess a growth mindset and not be afraid of trying something new - we don't bite!
* Familiarity or the passion to learn how to use marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for supporting business growth and community engagement.
Desirable Skills (Not Required but a Plus):
* Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
* Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
* Event management experience within a membership-based or service-oriented company.
