We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team to manage key finance operations including our accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash management functions. The job holder will be responsible for producing and monitoring working capital forecasts and ensuring appropriate funding is available in all the PPF's operational bank accounts. The role will also be responsible for the collation and reporting of sustainability metrics both internally and externally.
The job holder will oversee a small team and be responsible for managing and developing their direct reports.
This role will deputise for the Financial Controller and be responsible for engaging with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation to ensure that our financial processes run efficiently and within agreed performance measures.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage key finance operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management functions.
2. Produce and monitor working capital forecasts.
3. Ensure appropriate funding is available in all operational bank accounts.
4. Collate and report sustainability metrics.
5. Oversee and develop a small team.
6. Deputise for the Financial Controller.
7. Engage with stakeholders to ensure efficient financial processes.
Minimum Requirements:
Our ideal applicant will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with recent experience of working within a Financial Controlling and Reporting environment, demonstrable proficiency in the use of ERP systems and month-end close processes (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) with previous team leadership/management experience as an essential requirement, including the line management of direct reports and employee lifecycles.
