An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Physics to join a well-established Science department at a high-achieving secondary school in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to inspire students and contribute to the continued success of the school's STEM provision.
The Role:
1. Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for Key Stage 5.
2. Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' curiosity and scientific understanding.
3. Use practical experiments and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning.
4. Contribute to curriculum development and department-wide initiatives.
5. Support the wider Science faculty in promoting STEM subjects and extracurricular activities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
2. A strong academic background in Physics or a related subject.
3. Experience teaching Physics up to GCSE or A-Level.
4. A passion for inspiring scientific curiosity in students.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
