Are you an accomplished leader with extensive experience in a social housing setting? If so, were in search of a Head of Housing Management within our Assets Directorate.
This new position based in the beautiful and historic city of Salisbury provides a unique opportunity to lead an outstanding team dealing with all tenancy, repairs and maintenance functions, for the Councils 5300 homes in South Wiltshire.
As the Head of Housing Management, you will lead and manage the Housing Landlord Service, ensuring effective planning and management of resources to deliver excellent customer service. Your role encompasses project and team management, collaborative partnerships, financial and performance oversight and strategic and business planning all directly contributing to well managed and safe homes, with great services for our tenants. Your responsibilities will also include being the Councils lead for support to the Housing Board, who provide assurance and scrutiny to this high-profile service; as well as providing oversight and leading the delivery of our Service Improvement Plan.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate who holds a Housing Management Qualification and Chartered Institute of Housing Membership. You will have extensive experience and a demonstrable track record of achievement in social housing management in either a local authority or housing association setting. With comprehensive understanding of the regulatory framework, and proven experience building and maintaining valued and positive relationships with residents. Leadership experience in managing large teams, as well as client and stakeholder groups at a senior level, will be essential.
