An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully NMC registered Practice Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team. While practice nurse experience is desirable, it is not essential as we are supportive in training qualified nurses to become a practice nurse. Particular experience in Diabetes would be an advantage. We may also be able to offer the opportunity to expand the role into that of a Lead Nurse for the right person.
Ideally, we would like someone to work full-time, although this may be flexible. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
Main duties of the job
Once trained, our practice nurses carry out many competencies in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, including:

2. Wound care
3. Health checks
4. Hypertension management
5. Health promotion
6. ECGs
7. Ear Care
