Rate of Pay: 25.00 31.26 perHour
Responsibilities:
* Provide Professional advice input andmanagement of the residential (excluding Council housing) retailcommercial and industrial property and in particular the managementof District and Local Shopping Centres.
* Managestaff working to the postholder through procedural controlincluding key result areas and development and staff appraisaltechniques. Allocate cases and give guidance supervise direct aswell as ensure completion of assignedcases.
* Ensure that valuation work undertaken bystaff working to the postholder is in accordance with the StatutoryCode and CIPFA and RICS Practice Statements and Guidance Notes andis in compliance with the Councils standing orders financialregulations codes and practices as well as the Divisions officeprocedures and ISO Quality Standards andstatements.
* Assess and undertake the leasingand renewal of leases of primarily retail commercial industrial andnonoperational property.
* Undertake valuationsfor rent review. Analyse market evidence initiate negotiate andimplement rent reviews in order to maximise the Councils rentalincome.
Qualifications:
* Educated to degree level orequivalent
* Membership of the Royal Institutionof Chartered Surveyors (General Practice) with at least 2 years(preferred 5) relevant post qualification experience includingundertaking asset valuations acquisition management and disposalcasework.
* Experience of dealing with commercialand residential development.
