Teaching Assistant – SEND (Primary & Secondary)
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school, working with both Primary and Secondary pupils with a range of additional needs.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with complex learning needs, communication difficulties, and sensory processing challenges. Your role will involve:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils across different age groups.
Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions.
Must have DBS on the update service
Supporting pupils with personal care, social development, and emotional well-being.
Helping to create a structured and engaging classroom environment.
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to meet each pupil’s individual needs.
