Title: Contracts Supervisor
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 40 per week

PURPOSE:
* To organise and supervise contracts to ensure quality, safety, programme and gross objectives are achieved.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Efficiently supervise and organise multiple contracts.
* Organise and control directly employed and sub-contract labour.
* Pre-approve time sheets and sub-contract labour invoices.
* Programme works to suit agreed programme and monitor progress.
* Ensure that material deliveries meet programme requirements.
* Prepare risk assessments, method statements, quality plans, etc.
* Ensure that the works are carried out safely and in accordance with Company requirements.
* Record variations and advise surveyor.
* Ensure works are installed as per approved working drawings and specifications.
* Liaise with Company employed subcontractors and ensure work meets our requirements.
* Maintain a good working relationship with both our operatives and the Main Contractor/Client.
* Organise plant, craneage, etc., to meet programme and cost plan.
* Attend site meetings as required.
* Maintain Health and Safety on site.
* Attend Company Safety Meetings/Training.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE OF POSITION HOLDER:
Incumbents need to be articulate, numerate and demonstrate competence in:
* Adaptability, business awareness, attention to detail, initiative, planning and organising, safety, and communication.
* Working knowledge of the flat roof industry.
* Experience in the building and construction industry would be beneficial or essential.
* Ability to read drawings and take measurements.
* CSCS Gold Card.
* SSSTS.
