Job Advert: Shift Mechanical Engineer
Location: Guildford Area
Salary: GBP42,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off, 7:00 AM : 7:00 PM
Annual Leave: 20 days + Bank Holidays
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a reputable facility in the Guildford area. As part of the facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within the building, providing a vital service to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across all mechanical systems within the facility.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults on equipment and machinery.
* Perform regular inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Work closely with other engineers to address any maintenance issues.
* Ensure that hospital facilities are operating safely and efficiently at all times.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
* Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, boilers, pumps, and associated equipment.
* Excellent problem:solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various departments.
* Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (City and Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
* Previous experience in shift:based work is desirable.
