Our Client is looking for a Warehouse Manager in the Wellington area to start as soon as possible.
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
Salary:
£28,000 to £33,000 - depending on experience.
As a Warehouse Manager, you will:
1. Own the daily pick / pack / dispatch function.
2. Ensure stock is prepared and available to pick in line with seasonal forecasts.
3. Ensure all operational KPI's and company requirements are met, tracked, and challenged.
4. Be instrumental in the day-to-day running and cleanliness of the warehouse, managing order volumes, daily workload, and continuous process improvement of the operation.
5. Challenge existing processes, providing input on efficiencies and cost reductions.
6. Address process deviations within agreed time-scales.
7. Lead, coach, and develop new and existing warehouse team members.
8. Maintain warehouse operational standards and processes and ensure all team members follow procedures.
9. Be responsible for staff recruitment in line with seasonal demands of the business and conduct appraisals and disciplinary processes.
10. Be responsible for the FLT fleet.
11. Promote and monitor health and safety compliance with regard to staff, buildings, and equipment.
