To start September 2025, Radnor House School Twickenham would like to appoint a full-time Deputy Head Pastoral who has the proven ability to oversee the pastoral wellbeing of all pupils in the school. The Deputy Head Pastoral works closely with the Principal, the Head, the DSL and the Senior Leadership Team, alongside all appropriate staff, on relevant matters pertaining to the pastoral wellbeing of the pupils in the school and ensures, through the full range of functions, that the aims of the school are met, undertaking any professional duty which may be delegated by the Principal.
In this important and complex role, you will oversee all appropriate behavioural policies and procedures and staff training and work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will also lead and manage the work of Heads of Year and, through them, the Form Tutors.
You will join a team of innovative and highly motivated teachers who constantly strive to provide the finest education and ever-expanding opportunities to get the very best out of our pupils while fostering a love of learning through the delivery of high-quality and innovative lessons.
Contribution to the wider life of the school is essential, and it is the expectation that all members of teaching staff play an active role in the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
