About Ripley Junior School:
Ripley Junior School has excellent facilities, being housed in a spacious former secondary school building. We have large classrooms, library, hall, gym, stage and music rooms, along with extensive grounds and outdoor areas for Forest School experiences. We are a three form entry Junior School from two main infant feeder schools, and are very much part of the community. We have a large, skilled and dedicated staff team with various areas of expertise, and our curriculum is built on new ideas, diversity and a strong sense of the community.
We are looking for someone who:

• Is committed to, and has a vision for ensuring inclusion, diversity and access.
• Has experience of developing a broad and enriching curriculum, in which all pupils are engaged in their own learning and can personally excel.
• Has proven experience of building, developing, inspiring and supporting a successful leadership team and can delegate appropriately.
• Can take a strategic lead on promoting a curriculum that drives outcomes and standards for our children.
• Is a confident and persuasive leader, who listens and values the views of others.
• Can utilise outstanding communication skills to engage with students, staff, and the wider community.
• Is committed to safeguarding the welfare of our children.
