Your new role:
As the Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and reconciliation of Financial Accounting functions including: Banks, petty cash, credit cards, purchase ledger invoices, staff expenses, and staff travel.
The Finance Assistant will also be responsible for month-end duties and closure processes for the above areas of Financial Accounts as well as any regular and/or ad hoc reporting requirements.
What you'll need to succeed:
1. You will need to have 6-12 months of experience in a previous financial role and have a high attention to detail.
2. You must also be degree educated or an AAT studier.
3. An excellent attention to detail and time management with an intermediate knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
4. You must have a good understanding of balance sheet and month-end processes and the ability to assess potential issues with creditors and how to resolve them.
5. Experience of working in a recruitment company would be desirable.
