The Role: Building Surveyor
Due to a sustained increase in workload, we are looking for a Building Surveyor to join our Cardiff team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Delivering a mix of professional services (condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and planned preventative maintenance schedules).
* Leading on project-based work, including the design, project management, and contract administration of refurbishment projects.
* Managing projects ranging in value from £0-2m under NEC and JCT contracts.
* Working across a variety of sectors, including Higher Education, Student Living, Healthcare, Education, Defence, Custodial, and Public Sector projects.
* Working independently with limited supervision while collaborating with the wider team as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* 2-3 years post-qualification experience (ideally Chartered or working towards Chartership).
* Strong project experience, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel (knowledge of Microsoft Project and Revit is desirable).
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, pragmatic, and timely surveying services.
