About the job
The Talent Specialist plays a pivotal role in the Talent Centre of Excellence (CoE) by facilitating alignment and ensuring the efficient, consistent, and high-quality embedment of CoE processes and priorities across geographic boundaries. The role scope will be both regional or global, within the specific responsibilities or area(s) of specialism. This role can be based in the UK or any of our European offices.
1. Manage end-to-end projects (talent marketplace, mobility, rotations across SBF) assigned autonomously and timely, bringing external best practices and retrieving local Gemba insights/feedback to improve our CoE practices as well as employee experience.
2. Independent and timely execution of tasks within Talent processes such as creating user guides and elearning modules (talent review, performance), conducting UAT testing, Regular Data Analysis/Reporting (status & completion of core processes, analytics), Managing the P&C Hub.
3. Expert on core Talent Process (Performance, Talent Review), supporting the embedment of the Performance culture and Talent philosophy through the P&C team into the business (being seen as the first point of contact within their market for core Talent Management topics).
4. Work closely with Talent Leads to plan core cycle activities, retrieve local GEMBA feedback/insights and bring in external best practice to continually challenge and improve our global CoE approach.
5. Collaborate with Business Partnering & People Excellence teams as appropriate to drive initiatives that increase Employee & Manager capability to own Talent processes.
6. Support communication of Talent Management & Performance across SBFE, tailoring or adapting as necessary and translating to SBFE languages.
7. Address special communications requests about talent topics or processes in each one of the markets, consulting with the lead of the project if necessary.
8. Assess and develop the skills, capabilities, and knowledge of the Business Partnering & People Excellence teams to execute core Performance & Talent processes.
9. Proactively work with Business Partnering & People Excellence teams and business to identify qualified needs with a clear focus on identifying and developing market’s talents.
What you bring to the table
1. Strong Technical acumen, including MS Office and LMS, LXP, HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors).
2. Understanding and experience of Talent Management Processes.
3. Inquisitive, curious nature with problem-solving abilities.
4. Great communication skills with ability to consult and influence and build lasting relationships.
5. Great prioritisation skills.
6. Future thinking mindset, identifying improvement opportunities and initiatives.
7. Role will be covering different markets, English is a must and any other European language would be ideal.
