Job Description
Reporting into the Head of Pubs with Rooms, you will be responsible to scope, design, deliver and evaluate short and medium-term marketing plans with the goal of creating and delivering a compelling & distinct experience for the guest while generating incremental sales through driving customer acquisition, frequency and increased spend. Full management of the Hotels digital channels to ensure we are optimising our digital performance and content to broadening our customer reach & conversion.
You will play an active role within both the Destination and Greene King pubs divisions to work alongside the operations team to ensure brilliant execution of the offer as well as working closely & building effective relationships with key agency partners.
You will be the champion for our pubs with rooms across the business, leading both direct reports and cross functional teams to deliver occupancy and sales growth across the business.
Your Role as Marketing Manager
8. Creation and management of the brand activity calendar, using a critical path to ensure plan lands to time and budget
9. Responsibility of the full Marketing mix – including BAU and campaign led activity
10. Responsible for the management and reporting of the marketing budget
11. To be the voice of the customer, to understand their behaviour and key market trends, using the insight to influence the marketing strategy & offer development.
12. To support on the scope, design & implementation of an annual marketing plan designed to profitably grow sales and occupancy through both direct and indirect bookings channels, including customer acquisition, repeat visits and spend per head. The plan should include, (but not be limited to) Marketing Campaigns, offer development, key events & occasions, trials, promotions & all communication plans (ATL / BTL)
13. Menu /offer development through evaluation of the current offer and work with the relevant brand teams to make enhancements in line with brand strategy, proposition to provide revenue driving and brand awareness opportunities for our bedrooms including packages, breakfast as well as meetings and events.
14. To evaluate and analyse all marketing campaigns & projects. Deliver key learning’s and recommendations by using performance, category and analysis reporting to drive future performance & enhance the customer experience.
What you'll bring.......
15. Previous experience in a similar, preferably gained within Hospitality or FMCG. Pub or Restaurant experience – either operational or Head Office based would be advantageous.
16. Involved in the development of marketing plans for short, medium and long term
17. Ability to work with and manage external stakeholders, design agencies and suppliers.
