This full-time role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching or education. You’ll work within the Humanities department, supporting subject areas such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, and Politics. The role involves assisting teachers with planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, and helping to raise attainment across KS3 and KS4. Key responsibilities: Provide in-class support to students across Humanities subjects Deliver tailored interventions for pupils who require additional academic help Assist with marking, classroom organisation, and learning resource preparation Contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs, trips, and revision sessions Support behaviour management and help maintain a positive classroom environment This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting, with training and guidance provided by both the school and Teaching Personnel.
