The successful candidate will play an important role in the marketing team. You will be responsible for designing a wide range of assets that will live across all touch points of the brand both internally and externally. Focus should be on maintaining the Candy Kittens brand identity, building great relationships with all departments in the team and juggling workload with competing priorities. Primary responsibilities: • Designing a wide range of assets across various media (owned website, paid and organic social, affiliates, digital, packaging, print, POS, and presentations) • Able to work independently on projects while collaborating effectively with our Creative Lead to support a cohesive brand vision • Collaborating with all members of the team and providing hands-on design support • Maintaining consistent brand identity across assets (CK is always growing in presence, and it’s important to create repetition wherever we’re seen) • Design of internal comms, working closely with our Office and Culture Manager • Proactively seeking out ‘housekeeping’ improvements to always-on touch points • Capable of concepting and starting ideas from scratch- not afraid to pitch thoughts and direction to all team members including management • Taking existing designs and artworking them to various formats and dimensions • Comfortable in managing external collaborations (e.g agencies/ freelancers) • Experience or interest with supporting photo shoots (concept, art direction, production and asset management) • Not necessary but ideal; retouching & animation The ideal candidate: • Either a junior looking to step up, or a newly established midweight designer • Strong technical stills across Adobe suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, XD • Well rounded portfolio showcasing real world projects • An advanced understanding of branding and consistency • Capable of problem-solving and balancing competing priorities • Highly organised with a proven ability to handle high-pressure environments with tight deadlines • You’re not pixel-perfect precious, but work is high quality (strikes a great balance between high-quality and efficient output) • Passionate interest in design trends across all industries, keeping Candy Kittens ahead of the curve • A curious personality, not afraid to ask questions that help to get a better outcome • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas confidently to internal and external stakeholders
