This exciting role will place the right candidate at the forefront of unmanned air systems development in the UK. Within this role you will work with internal stakeholders, external customers and the software engineering team across multiple projects to translate high level business and project objectives into detailed requirements and user stories. Role Responsibilities Capturing requirements from customer and project meetings Creating epics, features and user stories and aligning them with project milestones Working with stakeholders to prioritise issues Assist the software team breaking user stories down into tasks Ensure issues meet the definition of ready as specified by the software team Collectively ensure delivery milestones are met Perform other related duties as required About You Skills: Essential Demonstrable experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role on complex software projects Collaborating in a software team using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Project Working in an Agile engineering environment Proficiency with Jira or similar issue tracking tool Writing software-specific requirements, user stories, epics and acceptance criteria Analysing business and project needs Desirable Educated to degree level in a business or computing related subject BCS, IIBA or similar certification Previous experience or interest in drones, aviation or defence Working to an Agile framework eg Scrum, Kanban Experience with the Atlassian suite Any previous programming/testing experience Personal Attributes Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK Ability to commit to national and international travel Team player who is capable of working autonomously Excellent verbal and written communications skills A professional and proactive approach Callen-Lenz is an equal opportunities employer, committed to building an inclusive working environment.
