We're seeking a Receptionist/Administrator to join our dedicated team at a busy equine veterinary practice. You will be working 7.5 hours per week, between Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (with additional hours available to cover holidays and sickness).
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, managing bookings, handling enquiries, and providing general administrative support to the veterinary team. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Answering phone calls and responding to emails
2. Scheduling appointments and managing the practice diary
3. Processing payments and handling invoices
4. General administration tasks to support day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
1. Excellent communication and organisational skills
2. A friendly, professional manner with clients and colleagues
3. Competent IT skills and attention to detail
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Reliability and flexibility to provide additional cover when needed
6. Desirable: Background or interest in horses or the equine industry
7. Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
8. Full training will be provided, so an equine background is not essential
