KHURSHID DRINKS LTD is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused “Floor Manager” to lead our front-of-house team, ensure seamless operations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The Floor Manager will be instrumental in managing daily floor activities, overseeing staff, and maintaining the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that defines Black Sheep Coffee.
Main duties include:
• Create a welcoming, engaging environment to consistently provide outstanding customer experiences.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and product presentation to ensure an inviting and professional atmosphere.
• Manage and support front-of-house staff during shifts, ensuring all team members perform their roles effectively.
• Plan and manage staff breaks in compliance with UK government guidelines, ensuring breaks are distributed fairly and operational needs are met.
• Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on company standards, new products, and best practices in customer service.
• Manage floor operations to ensure seamless workflows, timely service delivery, and effective coordination with the kitchen team.
• Ensure front-of-house supplies, such as takeaway items and consumables, are sufficiently stocked, proactively reporting shortages and coordinating restocking with the kitchen manager.
• Monitor the availability of menu items and work with the kitchen manager to address inventory and replenishment needs efficiently.
• Conduct regular checks of the front-of-house area to maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing environment.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hospitality or retail sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for customer service and delivering memorable experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak hours.
