Job Title: Outreach and Support Worker

Job Purpose:
The Outreach and Support Worker will work across Greater Glasgow, providing bespoke and holistic 1:1 support for participants experiencing complex life circumstances. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Delivering group activities outdoors in community greenspaces.
* Providing one-to-one support for participants, identifying and removing barriers to participation and supporting towards their individual goals.
* Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, generating referrals for all programmes.
* Promoting Venture Trust within local communities.
* Supporting the delivery of wilderness journey opportunities in Scotland’s wilder places.
* Working closely with referral partners and any other stakeholders to provide joined up support for participants.
* Working within a team structure with hybrid working arrangements.
Minimum Requirements:
Prospective candidates must have, or be working towards, basic accreditation to deliver a physical activity programme. Experience of delivering a physical activities programme for young people aged 11+ is essential.
Hours of work are Thursday and Friday evenings from 6.30 – 10.00pm, Friday afternoons, and Saturday afternoon/evening. Shifts are flexible.
