The HICA Group has a new opportunity for a dedicated and focused individual to join our kitchen team at The Birches based in Brigg!

Pay & Hours:
£12.22 per hour
Hours of work: 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Weekday & Weekend shifts available. Working to a rota covering 7 days per week.

The Role:
You will prepare, cook and serve food and drinks to our Service Users
Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is up to the highest standard.
Be aware of specific needs and preferences from our Service Users
Keeping cleaning products safely stored as well as ordering cleaning products for the kitchen.
Using a person-centred approach towards our Service Users during mealtimes
About you:
A good understanding of those with challenging behaviours.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Previous experience of working in a kitchen environment would be preferred.
Knowledge of individual dietary needs.

The Birches offers both accommodation and support tailored to individuals living with learning disabilities and related support requirements. Our facility consists of four accessible bungalows and two flats, providing a comfortable home for up to 31 individuals aged 18 and above. Our dedicated support team at The Birches collaborates closely with each resident to deliver personalised services that unlock their potential, enrich their lifestyles, and cater to their unique needs. The thoughtful design of our bungalows and flats creates a warm and homely atmosphere, fostering a sense of belonging for all residents.
