Every year, we support over 300 individuals in our housing provision, enabling them to grow their confidence and move into education, training, employment and into independent living. Alongside this we provide a whole host of youth and community services including our own community gardens. We also provide training and education to 150 young people each year who find mainstream education more difficult, as well as high-quality childcare within our community.

Governance & Compliance Manager
Based: YMCA Derbyshire – London Road Campus & Across All YMCA D & YSS Offices
Salary: £31047.36pa
Hours: 35 hours per week.

YMCA Derbyshire is looking for a Governance & Compliance Manager to play a vital role in Corporate Governance and Compliance.

What We’re Looking For:
* A strong background in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance.
* Experience working with Boards, Trustees, and senior leadership teams.
* Knowledge of charity governance and compliance.
* A passion for ethical leadership, transparency, and upholding the values of the YMCA.
The appointment is subject to YMCA Derbyshire receiving two satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and a six-month probationary period.
