This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast paced, growing business where you will be responsible for the full end to end management accounts process and will be supported by a very experienced and approachable Finance Manager. You will oversee and support a small finance team and will join a business that values giving back to the local community through incentive and employee volunteer days. This role is easily commutable from Harrogate, North Leeds, West Leeds, Leeds City Centre and the area to the West of York. Duties and responsibilities will include: Supporting the Finance Manager and the wider team with the month end management accounts process Assisting with the production of the financial packs and providing commentary and variance analysis Preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts Business partnering with stakeholders and presenting financial information to non-financial individuals/teams Developing and guiding the existing team and supporting with any training needs Assisting with the statutory audit process Working with the Finance Manager around the budgeting process Preparing and presenting internal financial reports Calculating and posting prepaymentS, accruals and rebates Producing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Identifying and implementing process improvement changes To be considered for this Management Accountant role you will ideally: Be AAT Qualified or will be Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, Qualified by Experienced candidates will also be considered Enjoy developing people through coaching and mentoring, prior experience of this isn’t required Have excellent communication skills, will be organised and will enjoy stakeholder management Be able to work towards deadlines in a fast-paced environment and will always be looking to develop yourself and the role For further details please apply or get in touch
