Planting Supervisor & Estimator | London | Full Time / Part Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, including weekends if required and Part-time options may be considered if they align with the client's requirements | £29,000 to £31,000 per annum Our client is a well-established family run Garden Centre based in Kentish Town, London, serving the local community predominantly within a three-mile radius. They specialise in high-quality outdoor and indoor plants, ready-made planters, gardening gifts, plant care products, pots, and seasonal items such as Christmas trees. Their mission is to enrich North London's urban landscape by providing expert horticultural advice, exceptional service, and sustainable planting solutions. They also offer bespoke planting services for gardens, balconies, roof terraces, and office spaces, ensuring clients receive expert guidance and quality results. Are you the right person for the job? Full, clean UK driving licence (mandatory) A right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered) Flexibility with working hours, including possible occasional weekends Hardworking, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset Passion for horticulture and commitment to ongoing professional growth Excellent communication and leadership skills Good plant knowledge and ideally to including maintenance and pruning techniques Experience with garden tools, micro drip irrigation, and general horticultural practices Proficiency in IT (Word, Excel, Outlook) for estimates and reporting Ability to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team Comfortable visiting clients' homes and conducting one-on-one sales consultations What will your role look like? As a Planting Supervisor & Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating, planning, and executing high-quality planting projects for a wide range of clients. Your responsibilities will include: Engaging with clients to understand their needs and preparing tailored estimates and proposals Leading the on-site installation of planting projects, ensuring top-notch standards Managing teams, allocating tasks effectively, and overseeing day-to-day operations Providing training and guidance to junior team members Handling site safety checks and maintaining equipment Representing the company professionally and ensuring client satisfaction When not focused on project estimation or installation, you will support the garden centre with plant care, customer service, and maintenance What can you expect in return?
