An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the Community Physiotherapy Teams across Dorset. This is a full-time post, to be flexible between Monday and Friday but part-time hours would be considered.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, an organised and methodical approach to their duties and enjoy a very driven administrative role. They must also be a team player who can respond quickly and easily to changing priorities and demands. Exceptional organisational and IT skills are essential for this role as well the ability to prioritise tasks and workload. A flexible, co-operative approach will be important, as you will be joining a busy, friendly team, where you will receive regular supervision.
An understanding of the NHS is preferable but not essential, along with experience of working with an electronic patient record system.
If you have proven experience as an administrator, are motivated to deliver high quality standards and services and have an eye for detail who enjoys working as part of a team within a very busy environment we would welcome your application.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team of Physiotherapists working across Dorset. The main duties will include diary coordination, including booking and rescheduling appointments with patients, sending appointment letters and dealing with incoming mail and telephone calls.
To provide administrative and organisational support to the Physiotherapy Department including using the trust computerised systems together with a high level of communication, telephone skills and an ability to use own initiative.
You will operate a range of confidential manual and computerised information record systems; accurately maintain service user files and other local recording systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Training
* NVQ level 2 or equivalent in office procedures.
* RSA level 2 or equivalent IT skills.
* Ability to prioritise effectively.
* Ability to use own initiative within sphere of responsibility.
* IT skills - Microsoft office functions.
Personal Qualities/Attributes
* Able to perform under pressure.
