Job Title: Rehabilitation Assistant Location: Farnborough, Hampshire Salary: £11.61 per hour Job Type: Full-Time, 48 hours per week Shift Times: 8am - 8pm, paid breaks Join our compassionate team in Farnborough - a specialist residential home providing rehabilitation for individuals living with long-term neurological conditions and traumatic or acquired brain injuries. About Us: We are dedicated to supporting our residents' recovery and helping them achieve greater independence and an improved quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility assistance, and engaging in rehabilitation exercises. Support the delivery of personalised rehabilitation plans, working closely with therapists to help residents regain physical, cognitive, and social skills. Encourage and engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being and independence. Monitor and record residents' progress, reporting any changes to senior staff and healthcare professionals. Provide emotional support and companionship, assisting residents as they adjust to living with neurological conditions or brain injuries. Contribute to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment within the home. What We're Looking For: A caring, patient, and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for rehabilitation and person-centred care. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow care plans and work alongside a multidisciplinary team. A basic understanding of neurological conditions or brain injuries is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Previous experience in a care or rehabilitation setting is beneficial, though not essential- full induction and ongoing training provided.
