Quality Technician
Role Responsibilities
1. Drive internal and external quality issues
2. Ensure working & master samples are valid and available for production
3. Issue and monitor Quality Alerts and ensure they are being adhered to
4. Initiate temporary/permanent fix to quality problems
5. Ensure audits on product have been conducted
6. Assist customer for concerns on shift
7. Visit customer when required
8. Support line trials
9. Global 8D reporting – using multifunctional team support
10. Support operations
11. Support Production 1st – off procedure
Role Requirements – Preferred but not essential
12. ONC (or equivalent) in Q/C Techniques
13. Working knowledge of FMEA’s and control plans
14. Understanding of IATF16949, ISO 9001 quality standards
15. Process & Product Audit experience
16. Metrology Experience
17. X-rite colour measurement
18. APQP understanding
19. Ability to understand engineering drawings
20. Good communicator at all levels within the business
21. PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Project
22. Able to generate informative and accurate data
23. Team player
24. Knowledge of Paint, Plastic and Assembly high volume processes
