Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a background in criminal legal defence administration. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, managing communications, and maintaining office organisation.
Duties
1. Audio typing.
2. Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails, ensuring professional phone etiquette is maintained.
3. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly documented.
4. Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents to facilitate easy retrieval.
5. Provide general clerical support, including typing documents, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
Experience
1. Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, a background in criminal legal defence administration advantageous.
2. Knowledge of Legal Aid Online advantageous.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
