About the Role: The Financial Reporting Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory adherence. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is looking to develop their expertise in financial accounting and compliance within a fast-paced e-commerce environment. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines. • Assist in the consolidation of financial statements for all entities within the group. • Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring accuracy. • Ensure all financial reporting complies with IFRS and GAAP by assisting in the review process. • Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, including corporate tax returns, VAT, and other sales tax filings across relevant jurisdictions. • Support the coordination of the group audit, including liaising with external auditors and preparing audit schedules. • Assist in the management of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting, providing accurate financial data for decision-making. • Help identify financial and operational risks and support the development of strategies to mitigate them. • Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate governance. • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting and compliance matters. Candidate Requirements: • Previous experience in audit. • Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA / ACA or Finalist Level • Excellent analytical skills and strong commercial acumen. • Familiarity with ERP systems and expert user of MS Excel. • Proactive, structured, and disciplined approach to work. • Ability to identify and support ad hoc project requirements. • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and relationship-building skills.
