Job Overview:
Our client are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Security Service Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the security industry, with experience in door entry systems, access control, CCTV, and intruder alarms. This is a field-based role, and the successful applicant will be required to service clients across the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing and maintenance of security systems, including door entry, access control, CCTV, and intruder alarms.
* Troubleshoot and repair faulty security systems efficiently and effectively.
* Participate in a call-out rota for emergency servicing and repairs.
* Work closely with customers to provide a high level of service and ensure client satisfaction.
* Maintain and update service records using a laptop.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the security industry.
* Strong knowledge and experience in door entry, access control, CCTV, and intruder systems.
* Experience with PAC and GDX systems is an advantage.
* Warden call system experience is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with auto doors, gates, and barriers is advantageous but not essential.
* Must be willing to participate in a call-out rota for emergency service.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Competence in using a laptop for diagnostics and record-keeping is essential.
