Albion Valves (UK) Ltd specialises in the distribution of valves and pipeline products into the UK and export markets.
Established in Barnsley since 1995, the company is a privately owned supplier of valves, controls, and fittings, which are sold into the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning industries (HVAC) as well as into the general industrial market.
An opportunity has arisen for a Full-Time Material Scheduler / Estimator to work within the projects team at Albion Valves, the role will be based in Dodworth, near Barnsley.
Main responsibilities will include the creation of detailed electronic bill of quantities, material schedules, technical submittals, and quotes from specifications, schedules, and schematic drawings.
The candidate must have a positive personality, be driven, self-motivated and capable of working independently, managing your own workload to meet tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages. The ideal candidate would also have good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering, however, this is not essential as full training will be given. Experience with CAD design software would also be advantageous, but again, not essential.
