CMA is pleased to be partnering with a reputable, independent firm based in Camberley who are currently looking for a semi-senior Accountant to join their team within a progressive role which includes both Audit and Accounts. This firm has a varied portfolio from Creatives to Construction and Legal to NFPs who they offer a full-service line to.
What will the Semi Senior Accountant & Auditor role involve?
1. Preparing statutory accounts, auditing, VAT returns, payroll, corporation tax and personal tax returns, and reviewing some simple ones.
2. Ensure the year end files are complete with back up schedules to support balance sheet figures.
3. Ensuring consistent quality over all work.
4. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
5. Supervising, managing, motivating and training junior staff.
Suitable Candidate for the Semi Senior Accountant & Auditor vacancy:
1. Relevant experience working within a busy, fast paced practice environment.
2. This role would suit a part qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA accountant.
3. Ability to handle client enquiries on a day-to-day basis and know when to inform the manager to ensure they are fully up to date.
4. Clear and concise communication skills.
5. Polite, enthusiastic and presentable.
