Job Title: Operations Manager
We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join our growing team at GXO, a world leader in providing cutting-edge logistics solutions.
The successful candidate will effectively coordinate GXO operations to meet site needs and achieve KPIs. They will foster GXO values and promote quality and value of site functions internally and externally.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a rotating schedule of 5 out of 7 days: 07:00–15:00, 15:00–23:00, and 10:00–18:00.
Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance to the Operations team on targets and plans for the operation
* Ensure customer needs are fully understood and translated into effective operational plans
* Develop and maintain plans and reports forecasting storage capacity available across the site to support profit and efficiency of the operation
* Work directly with the customer to improve overall service provided by the operation
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in fast-moving retail logistics operation
* Customer focused, operationally astute, and experienced in achieving stretching objectives and operating to high standards
* Excellent people management skills with ability to build credible and strong professional relationships at all levels
* Good analytical and numerical skills with high level of attention to detail
