Your role and responsibilities
Our Talent Acquisition team in UK & IE is growing, therefore we are looking for an experienced Talent Sourcer to join our team. As Talent Sourcer you will play an important role in effectively identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent for ABB. You will collaborate closely with Talent Partners, Hiring Managers, and Business Leaders to understand hiring needs, develop strategic sourcing plans, and build comprehensive pipelines of passive and active candidates. This is a temporary ongoing role, and you will be hired via one of our agency partners. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract relevant talent for various roles within ABB UK & Ireland.
2. Engaging in kick-off meetings with Hiring Managers and Talent Partners to discuss sourcing strategy, share market insights, outline way forward and share best-practices in sourcing.
3. Utilizing various sourcing tools and techniques to identify candidates, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
4. Headhunting and engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach campaigns, leveraging creative messaging and employer branding techniques.
5. Conducting initial screening interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and suitability for the role.
6. Using data analytics to understand market trends, candidate behavior, and monitor key metrics such as response and conversion rates, and TTF to identify areas for improvement and adjusting sourcing strategies accordingly.
7. Identifying future hiring needs and developing talent pipelines for future hiring needs while maintaining regular contact with potential candidates to keep them engaged and interested in future opportunities.
8. Tracking and reporting on sourcing metrics, such as the number of sourced candidates, response rates, and conversion rates.
Qualifications for the role
* Extensive experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter, in either a corporate or agency setting.
* Ability to effectively use your experience in sourcing techniques and tools, including LinkedIn recruiter, job boards, social media, and networking.
* Highly adept in communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders of all levels.
* Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
* Proficient in interpreting hiring trends and market data.
