A bit about the job: In this role, you will provide day-to-day technical leadership to the Counter Fraud Desk team, whilst being responsible in driving improved capability and performance within the Counter Fraud Property department. You will work closely with the Home and Commercial Desk Team Leads, Field and Counter Fraud Team Leads, and the Counter Fraud Operational Lead to deliver excellent service while adhering to industry standards and policies. Your responsibilities will include supporting counter fr aud strategies, technical complaints, driving talent development, and implementing best practices, all while ensuring cost management and compliance with Aviva's claims philosophy and standards. Key responsibilities: Lead and provide technical support to the Counter Fraud Property desk team, managing referrals and improving team capabilities. Develop and implement technical standards and guidelines, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with required standards. Collaborate with Learning & Development (L&D) colleagues to upskill and coach the Counter Fraud Property unit d r iving continuous improvement. Work closely with various teams to identify and address skill gaps, implementing strategies to improve performance. Support in complaint resolution and escalation for complex technical cases. Monitor and drive performance o n key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with Counter Fraud objectives and customer satisfaction. Skills and experience we're looking for: In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in Household and Commercial Property claims, with a strong technical understanding of buildings pathology and Counter Fraud practices. Excellent leadership skills with proven experience in coaching, developing, and managing a team to achieve high performance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to drive continuous improvement through technical auditing, identifying performance gaps, and supporting change initiatives. A strong understanding of insurance policy wordings, Counter Fraud definitions, and claims philosophies.
